This may well have modified what the compiler considers as the first
non-abstract non-inline member function, since the constructor is a
member function just like others, for this purpose.  What if you post
only the class that you had to modify in order to get it working, as
well as any base classes it depends upon and the implementation of
*all* is member functions, in a single compilable code snippet?
