First, I'll publicly thank Marc for (more) good work.     This is great 
stuff.

Should the web database thingy have a link from the egcs web pages?  
Perhaps it does already.   I haven't had web connectivity since Marc's 
announcement.

I don't feel terribly strongly about this, but as a CVS-enabled user, I
rather like being able to ignore the whole snapshot cycle.  Yes, this
does force cerebral diffs to be a little fuzzy, but it's a tractable 
problem for a developer type.
