Thanks to everyone who replied-
But. (Isn't there always one) The current snapshot on the web is 1026,
the cvs module for the latest snapshot is an unknown module, and I can't
get autoconf, or texinfo to compile on my machine due to some Symbol
referencing errors with ginfo [?] on an object file, which leaves a
compile from cvs source to be out of my league.
So. Compilation is still a no-go situation, and the errors persist.
Rand.

This may seem a bit weird, but that's okay, because it is weird.
