system threads library

Hi,

The Objective-C testsuite fails when egcs is compiled with threads support
because the test programs are not linked against the target's threads library.
This may also cause problems for test programs that need to check thread-safe
functionality, because the knowledge about the thread library to link against
is not currently present.

I would like to add support in configure for specifying for each system the
name of the threads library. Can I start implementing this or is somebody else
already working on it?
