The problem with the pgcc-split is that not all the world revolves around
Intel... I think that the idea was that nobody really likes that split,
but it has to be resolved practically, mainly, clean up stuff so that the
pentium-specific hacks don't invade the main compiler, and make it impossible
to compile/use/maintain gcc on anything but a pentium...
