"i586-pc-linux-gnulibc1" on October, 2nd 98

(host == target).

 

By the way, how to compile

* for target i586-pc-win32                  ?

* for target powerpc-mv2603-vxworks  ?

from either host i586-pc-win32 (gcc  version 2.7-B19 from

original cygnus binary distribution) or i586-pc-linux-gnulibc1

(gcc 2.7.2.1 or new egcs)

 

it has been refused while attempting to compile

from the source archive egcs-1.1b.tar.gz.
