I have a rather large C code (several hundred thousand lines) compiled
with egcs-1.0.3a that I would like to profile by basic blocks on an
Ultrasparc running Solaris 2.5.1. Can someone tell me what options to
pass to gcc and the linker to generate the profile information, and which
tool to use to process it? I've tried various things without much luck.
If someone provides a good answer, perhaps it can be added to the FAQ.
