successful build/install of egcs

As per ${srcdir}/INSTALL/FINALINSTALL file:
egcs version: 1.1b
Output of srcdir/config.guess:
i386-unknown-openbsd2.3
Compiled with command line:
make CFLAGS='-O -pipe' LIBCFLAGS='-g -O2 -pipe' LIBCXXFLAGS='-g -O2 -fno-implicit-templates -pipe' bootstrap-lean
Note: this is not a supported OS. I had to modify gcc/configure
slightly. Line 2766 now reads:
i[34567]86-*-netbsd*|i[34567]86-*-openbsd*)
The texinfo directory didn't configure or build properly.
The installed compiler happily disgorged an OpenBSD kernel and shared
lib version of tcl/tk 8.1, both of which seem to be running just fine.
I'm sure someone at the OpenBSD project will some day submit an official
patch.
