Where is g++?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Please pardon my ignorance, but I just updated by egcs source tree via
CVS and compiled the latest version. Even though everything seems to
compile and install just fine, there's no g++ binary, nor is there a
libstdc++.a file anywhere. It seems that the C++ code isn't even
built at all.

I compiled the sources as usual, from ./objdir:

 $ ../configure --prefix=/usr/local/egcs
 $ gmake bootstrap
 $ gmake install

I just checked the docs on the webserver, but couldn't find any hint
what's going wrong.

Could somebody please enlighten me?
