More documentation, sort of - Master's thesis on a port of GCC to CRIS

I believe documentation on GCC is so scarce that even my master's thesis
(*long* overdue) would be of help and appropriate to announce here...
(Ok, so you saw through the false modesty.)

The thesis report is written for (hopefully not too many will think *by* ;-)
people without much a clue which way to turn, but who want to start working
on GCC, with an emphasis on making a cross-compiler for a new port.
However, some parts, notably the register usage measurements in chapter 5,
may amuse even some of the more distinguished GCC experts.

Warning: chapter 3, i.e. 37 of the 107 pages, contain information almost
completely deducible from "Using and Porting GCC" (the GCC info manual).

It is still a draft (but no changes are foreseeable) and comments are
welcome.

It comes in various file formats, located at:
<URL:ftp://ftp.axis.se/pub/axis/tools/cris/misc/rapport.ps> (1.1 M)
<URL:ftp://ftp.axis.se/pub/axis/tools/cris/misc/rapport.ps.gz> (260 K)
<URL:ftp://ftp.axis.se/pub/axis/tools/cris/misc/rapport.pdf> (767 K)
<URL:ftp://ftp.axis.se/pub/axis/tools/cris/misc/rapport.pdf.gz> (488 K)

Software compatible with Adobe Acrobat Reader version 3.0 is necessary
for the PDF format.
