I can tell you that a cvs update on August 12th at around 22:00 EDT
resulted in a good compilation on i586-pc-sco3.2v5.0.5. But yesterday,
13th, I see exactly the same failure as you do. So the haystack wherein
lies the needle comprises changes made late Wednesday or on Thursday.
