What is the correct way to update my cvs working directory?
I have been using:
cvs update -r egcs_1_1_branch egcs-cvs
where `egcs-cvs' is the directory in which I have
the egcs-1.1 tree. but I get an increasing
ammount of merges, even failing merges! and
'M' for modified files, while I did not change
anything myself in the working directory :/.
I removed everything and did a brand new
checkout with:
cvs co -regcs_1_1_branch
but it would be nice if I didn't have to
do that again :).
