That's what I did patch :-) Those have been the official copies
since the web site was moved to the egcs machine.

Yes, it has been our intention to deal with this, the question has
been *how* to deal with this. I've actually pondered this often
over the last 6 weeks. I never came to a "good" solution....
So I took the easy route. The INSTALL directory is now dead, except
for releases, when it will be populated with current files from
wwwdocs.
