First you have to get a working gnat binary of somekind that is
capable of building gnat from source and install it on your system (or
generate a cross compiler but that is much more complicated).  After
that, it is pretty much a "drop in" addition.  I had to make a few
makefile tweaks to fix some minor problems, but getting an integrated
EGCS and GNAT tree for Linux, AmigaOS, and BeOS was only a few hours
of work, at most.
