I've just figured out why it was happening.  I was passing an `-f' to
contrib/gcc_update in my gccsnap script.  This had the effect of not
only bringing in all of the rest of uberbaum, which I wanted, but also
to bring in testsuite files from mainline if they were not present in
the snapshot.  Oops.

This will be fixed for next week's snapshot.  Thanks for pointing it
out, and apologies for not having noticed it myself.
