I recently submitted a similar patch, which was redirected to "fix in DejaGnu" by RTH. However, I was never able to find out how to actually get DejaGnu fixed. (It turns out to be rather simple: add a .x file in the right place with the right contents.) I'm inclined to believe that we'd be better off using individual .x files because it: a) Documents what we're up to better. b) Is something we can control directly. However, I don't really have time/energy/bandwidth at the moment to push on the issue.
