Status
======
After two months of Stage 3 the trunk is now in release-branch mode
which means only patches fixing regressions and documentation issues
are appropriate.
We're getting a lot of bugs fixed and thus the quality data below
shows we are on track for a release around the beginning of April.
Still some architecture specific bugs lack attention by their
maintainers. To remind people of the list of primary and secondary archs
considered for GCC 4.9:
The primary platforms are:
arm-linux-gnueabi
i386-unknown-freebsd
i686-pc-linux-gnu
mipsisa64-elf
powerpc64-unknown-linux-gnu
sparc-sun-solaris2.10
x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
The secondary platforms are:
hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11.11
powerpc-ibm-aix7.1.0.0
i686-apple-darwin
i686-pc-cygwin
i686-mingw32
s390x-linux-gnu
Archtecture maintainers please also look at the testsuite status of your
port and try to clean it from existing failures.
