Sorry, I didn't see that note about backports, but then I'm way behind
on gcc mail.
Peter, would you be able to test this patch for a backport? I'm kind of
swamped right now, and decimal float is definitely not a priority for me
right now. I certainly don't mind if someone else backports it.
