But instead of the above, I looked at
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2011-03/msg01273.html
having been confused by the fact that URL and Subject line don't match.
The patch in http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2011-04/msg00735.html
seems ok from a build system POV.
