Subject: [PATCH ARM] Fix PR43698

Hi, 

This patch fixing PR43698 has been stuck in my tree for a while now and
hasn't been pushed upstream yet. Currently regression testing on
qemu-arm with armv7-a for both ARM and Thumb2 for eabi.

Ok to commit to trunk and 4.5 branch if no regressions ?
