For now. But, we don't know what else we might add between now and whenever we do actually switch the ABI. I think it's overly defensive to treat this as a special case.

I don't see this aspect as a special case; if we're going to change the ABI in the not-too-distant future, I think people would be interested in knowing what code will be affected, or can turn off the warning if they aren't. Most users will not see the warning at all. But I suppose that could be a Red Hat-local change if necessary.
