What do you suggest then? We have to generate what VMS Debug expects to see.
Perhaps you could start by not pretending there's a UNIT argument when in fact the scaling is totally hidden within target code not included with your patch.
Perhaps you should not pretend the target hook is generic, and include the VMS name in it somewhere.
