I indeed missed this patch. I am not an expert on PPC (especially
that which is gcc or toolchain related configuration, such as this).
Since it appears that bootstrap is broken across the board for
FreeBSD/PPC, then this patch is approved from my perspective. If you
are not 100% sure that this is the best fix w.r.t. toolchain
configuration then please seek approval from PPC maintainers.
