As far as I'm concerned, all my work on the GCC tree is blocked by GCC being
in stage 4 (I have hundreds of pending patches that I cannot handle internally
at AdaCore that have precedence before I can look at your patch), so I'd
suggest pinging again when we're in stage 1.

Thanks for your comprehension, and sorry for the disagreement (be sure you're
not the only one being impacted!).

Since your change requires changing the internal gnatmake mechanism, it's
not suitable for a stage 4 change and is not a regression.
