Thanks for the help. Though not 'standard', my testing is done on what
would be an entire release cycle for Gentoo/FreeBSD, that's it:
bootstrapping stages, plus bootable media.

Perhaps it can be separated in two, a 'sync' from FreeBSD's CVS patch
only modifying freebsd-spec.h, and the whole dl_iterate_phdr/EH support
as a separate patch.
