Well, <http://gcc.gnu.org/contribute.html> states to split patches as
much as possible, and that packing is ok for large patches.  (I went over
the list size limit with the unpacked ones.)

I'll apply the reviewed bits and post the remaining changes grouped
and unpacked.

FWIW, beside these I have a patch for fixing roughly 900 typos in
Ada source code comments.  Unpacked, this goes way above the message
size limit.  I assume I can just split this arbitrarily in messages
that fit in the limit.
