This is OK with the change FX requested, assuming that it passes the
regression testing.  Please go ahead and apply it once it's tested.  :)

I'm currently away for three weeks so am unable to test/commit this patch until I arrive home on the 23rd of this month. I have the change FX requested in my local tree but didn't have the time to regtest it and re-submit before I left.

Would you mind if I committed it, then? I'd prefer to get this into the tree sooner, rather than having to worry about bit-rot (especially since FX is working on a patch in the same area).
