Re: [patch] x86 incorrect code generation when -mstackrealign option is specified

Hello!

... and regression tested with a top-level "make check-gcc" with no regression.

Is there a reason that only C part is tested?

       * config/i386/i386.c (ix86_function_regparm): Added checking of
       ix86_force_align_arg_pointer to determine the number of
       register parameters.

* gcc.target/i386/stack-realign.c: New.

This is OK for mainline and branches (after the patch has been a couple of days in mainline). But please change:

+/* { dg-do run { target i?86-*-* } } */
+/* { dg-require-effective-target ilp32 } */

to

/* { dg-do run { target { { i?86-*-linux* x86_64-*-linux* } && ilp32 } } } */

This form is preferred, as it also covers -m32 in x86_64 case.

Thanks,
Uros.
