Regtested with x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu alias openSUSE 10.2 (GM)/Athlon64.
I checked with interdiff that the only changes were indeed only the two
test case files.

And Chris also wrote: "for what it's worth, i took a closer look at
Paul's patch and it is very similar to mine. i believe his patch will
work" (By the way, if you haven't heard it: FX wrote in the IRC that his
copyright assignment is ok now :-)
