They're not, technically, dead; just waiting.

Could you post those on the mailing list?  Some of us were not
on IRC at the time...

One nice thing about the patch queue is that it gives you an idea of
what proportion of patches don't get reviewed.  The oldest patch on
the queue is number 130, and the newest is number 1262, and there are
61 patches in the queue; so in the last year or so, 95% of all
patches posted to the queue have been reviewed and removed from the queue.
