No you don't.  The .po files only go in one direction: from the 
Translation Project to GCC.  (For example, when 4.1.1 comes out and the 
.pot file is notified to the TP, I will download the new merged .po files 
from the TP and commit them, thereby wiping out any local changes in GCC's 
copies.)  The translators never look at GCC's copies of the .po files.
