Thanks for the patch. I had expect one of the Java folks to look at
that, but see that you haven't got much response so far.
The patch per se would be fine, but I really wonder whether we shouldn't
make build-snapshot.html much smaller -- the default installation
instructions should be sufficient to build snapshots as well (and
some of the stuff really is too GNU/Linux-specific) so I would just
refer to these, and if there is anything specific one might want to
do, just list this in addition to the link.
