I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say here. What I found
is that the dg-skip-if simply doesn't work (appearantly because the
compiler_flags, needed by check_conditional_xfail, isn't set at the time
this gets evaluated; dg-xfail-if delays evaluation by storing the
specified arguments into compiler_conditional_xfail_data) and further I
found that even dg-xfail-if will not prevent dg-final from being
executed, leading to an irritating error message saying the supposed to
be generated assembly file doesn't exist.
