Unfortunately, I don't have any acceptable patch at hand.
All I can do is give advice based on my knowledge of what is and is not
reasonable for the Ada front-end.

My short-term recommendation is to revert the previous change
to ada/Make-lang.in

Let's revert the patch, please.

We'll live with the situation before the patch for 3.4.2.

Please let me know when that has transpired.
