C++ bootstrap (part 2/n)


Hello,

This part is very mechanical.  There are still many occurrences of
ATTRIBUTE_UNUSED.  So far I've only fixed those that were interfering
with C bootstrap and a few more.

Bootstrapped on powerpc-apple-darwin and committed as pre-approved.
