I actually ruled that out as elsewhere in GCC "newdecl" and "olddecl"
don't have an underline and there are many other examples. I had
assumed that if the two conjoined words were short enough it didn't
warrant an underline. Sorry, I should have asked last email - do you
still want in_pragma instead of inpragma (I think it looks gammy)?

No I can't. I'd very much doubt if you'll be seeing more of me again
unless another GCC limitation stops work this end. GCC 3.4 fixed all
my previous pet peeves, my last one is that GCC built binaries still
remain 50%-270% larger than MSVC built binaries of identical code but
that's more a problem for my users.

I would very much like some day to completely replace the existing
shared library mechanism on Linux/BSD which is a royal PITA for what
I'm doing with something which manually tags symbols as imported or
exported. The current (Solaris derived?) system is nice for small
simple shared library usage but sucks big time for anything complex
and my project makes heavy & complex usage of shared libraries.

Yes. Brian Ryner who did the other part of this patch told me he'd
sent off his well over a month ago now.

Cheers,
Niall
