Mm.  I really don't think microbenchmarks are as important as real
applications in this regard.  They can tell us useful things, but they
aren't the whole picture and I don't think they should be the first
thing we look at.

You're right that shouting at each other won't get us anywhere
constructive, and for my part, I apologize for losing my temper.
