Ok to check into mainline? (In a pinch I could just check
this in as a cpplib change, but it does non-trivially change
some other files.)
Ok (appropriately modified) to check into 3.4? (With it out
distcc doesn't work as well as it should.)
If the former, would it be helpful to check this
(appropriately modified) into the tree-saa branch as well?
I'd like to get this taken care of asap, for 3.4, for the
tree-ssa merge, and so I can merge in the already-approved
column-number change.
