Hmm, you are right.

No, I'm working from the head gcc CVS revision.

I'm apparently really confused.  I could have sworn that the
mipsisa32-elf toolchain that I configured a few days ago from the head
revisions of binutils, gcc, and newlib needed this patch to get a
properly configured gcc.  I'll go investigate.
