He is not my boss in my day job, but I'm not doing this at day.  :-)
I'm a PhD student doing this in my spare time, so I am free to give
away my rights to Ben so that he can give them to you.

Thomas Frieden, who did the 2.95.3 patch on which mine is partly
based, does have Ben as his day job boss though, so it's definitely
Ben who has to sign the form.

True.  My University makes no claims to whatever the students develop
even if it should happen to be during daytime (which it isn't in my
case, since this isn't really related to my research), so it should be
"safe".
