This patch is lacking documentation (both in install.texi, where relevant directory names and configure options are documented, and anywhere else in the manuals that mentions libsubdir or libdir or libexecdir or gcc-lib).

I will create a separate patch to address this. Much of this documentation appears to be duplicated copies of the autoconf documentation and/or the GNU coding standards, and should simply reference that documentation.
