The fastjar maintainer never replied to email I sent him, back when we
first started making changes to it. Feel free to try to contact him
though. I'm sure anybody associated with gcc who has made fastjar
changes would be willing to sign them over.
We aren't wedded to fastjar. If there is a GNU jar implementation, we
can use it.
We are pretty much committed to libffi. I don't think there's
anything equivalent (especially in platform coverage) out there.
You'd have to ask Anthony about the copyright for it.
