I'll commit it now to CVS mainline since I assume that Michael has no
CVS write access,

Please revert it for now, it breaks bootstrap on a rh73 system. After a simple "../gccm/configure --prefix=/home/fsirl/gnubinm --enable-threads --enable-shared --with-system-zlib i686-redhat-linux; make bootstrap" the native build stops early in zlib configuring:

make[2]: Verlassen des Verzeichnisses Verzeichnis
»/home/gnu/obj/gccm/libiberty/testsuite«
make[1]: Verlassen des Verzeichnisses Verzeichnis
»/home/gnu/obj/gccm/libiberty«
Configuring in zlib
loading cache .././config.cache
configure: error: can only configure for one host and one target at a time
make: *** [configure-zlib] Fehler 1
Die Mai 13 13:24:33 CEST 2003
0m0.000s 0m0.000s
0m42.800s 0m7.850s

Reverting the patch fixes that.

Franz.
