Hold off on this one.  There is a problem with the architecture
specification.  We'll get back to you on this in a couple of days.

This option is used to debug gcc internals.  The output format might change.
For this reason, I'm not sure if we really should document this user-visibly;
and if we do, should we put a warning there?

This option is only retained for backwards compatibility with old
makefiles.  I think we should use a text like:
"Deprecated.  Use -Os instead"
