That's exactly the test case I _have_ been using; but you're not
answering my question.... :-)
No, not crash2.C -- the first test case in the PR.
Obviously, you're in the best position to know what to do internally -- but
know that taking this out might -- independently of the test case -- cause
major slow downs for some test cases. I'd definitely suggest testing the
speed impact on a wide variety of test cases.
