Well, my main machine is a ppc darwin machine. The solaris (@work) I
misuse only for checking during work. Here I do not have (very limited)
the time to track down failures. Nevertheless I doubt if I am allowed to
during work time.

Great, I don't have time to as mentioned above. But I welcome test
suggestions and I can run them in parallel to my job.
Another thing which bothers me, as read on the dev plan I expect being on
the final line for 3.1, why are breaks in now? For weeks I didn't get a
failure neither on darwin nor on solaris2.6? Here I don't see the reason.
Mentioned above, I can test and I'll do so.
