This should be fine except for multi-ABI systems that use different
time_t's for different ABIs (like Solaris 7/8: 32-bit for 32-bit
applications, 64-bit for 64-bit applications).

Btw., does GNAT/the Ada RTL handle those systems (like sparc-sun-solaris2
with -m32 and -m64, or mips-sgi-irix6 with -mabi=32 and -mabi=64 in a
single compiler) yet?
