Where is your proposal (in the form of a patch to contribute.html) to
change the documented requirements?
I don't fiddle with those files, so somebody else will have to do it
if it's needed. But the concensus when this was brought up was that
there was no reason to waste bandwidth and people were against that
waste. Nobody in that discussion, as I remember it, raised the issue
of that html file.
if you want procedures to be different
I don't particularly care. I have a slight preference to not having
to decode submitted patches just because the inclusion of source files
causes it to go over the 100K limit and to having a smaller email
file, but I don't have a strong preference either way. In this case, it
would have been less work for me to have *not* deleted the files from
the message I sent.
