Actually, from looking at a patch that HJ sent me I noticed
that I forgot to have gcc handle the -march option as
passed to the assembler so the patch doesn't work as is. It
doesn't break anything because nothing uses -march currently,
but that's no reason for it not to work.
I'll finish this up and resubmit. If people are decided on -march
and -mtune I can also add that into the patch.
