PATCH: faq.html, cvs.html, snapshots.html
- To: gcc-patches at gcc dot gnu dot org
- Subject: PATCH: faq.html, cvs.html, snapshots.html
- From: Rich Churcher <rich at ihug dot com dot au>
- Date: Sat, 16 Jun 2001 13:49:29 +1000 (EST)
Please consider the following (for mainline at this stage, obviously):
[faq-patch]
2001-06-16 Rich Churcher <churcher@ihug.com.au>
* Minor punctuation changes to some titles
* Updated C++ sample code in "Problems with floating point
computations" in case anyone tries to compile it
* Created "Older versions of GCC and EGCS" section, moved
one question to this and added another from FOM
* Removed question from index which is no longer in FAQ body
* Removed questions to do with snapshots and CVS (these
are now in snapshots.html and cvs.html, respectively)
[cvs-patch]
2001-06-16 Rich Churcher <churcher@ihug.com.au>
* Added "Conflicts when using cvs update" section from GCC
FAQ
[snapshots-patch]
2001-06-16 Rich Churcher <churcher@ihug.com.au>
* Added text removed from the GCC FAQ section "Snapshots:
how, when, why"
* Corrected "base" -> "basis"
I'll hold off looking at any possible additions to install.texi until
Rainer's patch has been checked in. I'd like to suggest adding a question
which covers the whole export keyword issue, because it comes up an awful
lot (on Usenet, at least.) If that's deemed useful, I could take a stab
at writing it and others can modify as necessary.
More importantly, I hope everyone gets some sleep this weekend.

Cheers,
Rich.
